The Version 1.6 update for Genshin Impact has been released, bringing with it new characters, equipment, events, and quests. Echoing Tales is the first event that went live on June 9th and it will end on July 21st. Summertime Sparkle, a character outfit for Barbara is the main prize for completing the event. For individuals who did not participate in the event, this free item will subsequently become a purchased cosmetic. You can also earn Primogems, Mora, and materials as additional rewards for playing.

Genshin Impact Echoing Tales Event
You must complete the following requirements to participate in the Echoing Tales event:
- Be at least Adventure Rank 21.
- Have completed the Archon Quest “Song of the Dragon and Freedom” and Trifolium Chapter: Act I: “True Treasure” to unlock the Midsummer Islands.
- The festival will take place on a number of islands in the Golden Apple Archipelago.
The Echoing Tales event’s main purpose is to collect Echoing Conches. These conch shells, which create a distinctive soundwave, are dotted over the islands. Echoing Conches can be found in a variety of locales across the Golden Apple Archipelago. To acquire them, explore the islands with your new Waverider Ship.
Five Echoing Conches are currently available, with more expected to be added in the coming days as the event progresses. The ones we have seen so far have all been on high ground: they are usually along the margins of cliffs overlooking the sea, and there is typically evidence of humans living nearby, such as wooden crates and lamps.
