Black Ops Cold War Firebase Z Easter Egg and How To Get It

GIStaffBy GIStaffFebruary 6, 2021No Comments3 Mins Read

In Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War’s Zombie mode, there is a new map called Firebase Z. Right now both Easter egg quest and the map is live. In this guide, we will tell you about the Firebase Z map, including how to turn on the power and how to activate the Pack-A-Punch machine.

Turn On Power

When you first enter into the map, you will have to talk to Ravenov as your first objective. To find him follow the waypoint and he will be shacked up in a corner area of the courtyard. Talk to him and he will tell you about the Pack-A-Punch machine, and you will eventually be directed to a teleporter that will take you to Omega Base.

Get To The Teleporter

To get to the teleporter, you will have to open up a door leading to Equipment Stairs that’ll take you to the roof.  You will have to collect 1,250 points by shooting up some zombies and then cash those in to open the door. Follow the waypoint up and there you will hear some radio chatter from Doctor Peck discussing turning the power on. Ignore that and hop in to arrive at Omega Base.

Activate the Aether Reactors

After you reach Omega Base, You will have to activate all three Aether Reactors and you will need a total cost of 1,500 points– 500 each to activate them.

Aether Reactor Locations

  • Reactor One – Military Command
  • Reacter Two – Mission Control
  • Reactor Three – Date Center

You will see each Aether Reactor on your map marked with waypoints, So it’s up to you to go to whichever you and your want to activate first. Each area will be locked with some gates, so keep killing the spawning zombies untill you have enough points to open them all.

You can activate an Aether Reactor easily. Approach it and turn it on by forking over the points. After you have done that, you will have to defend the collector points found in the vicinity from a few waves of Zombies. If you can’t keep track of which collector being attacked, the waypoint of the one being attacked will flash red. Keep killing the undead until the collectors are fully charges. Once the collectors are charged the Aether Reactor will activate.

Repeat this process to activate all the three Aether Reactors and the power will be turned on. After completing this objective go back to the teleporter.

Activate the Pack- A – Punch

After you return to the starting courtyard area, go back to Ravenov and turn on the Pack-A-Punch machine by interacting with it. Now you can upgrade the firepower of your weapons, which will be a must to complete Firebase Z’s Easter egg.

You will need 5,000 points for the first upgrade, and the subsequent ones will come in at 15,000 and 30,000 points. You must come back if your currently equipped weapon isn’t quite cutting it against the undead hordes.
