The King of Fighters XV has rolled out Patch Ver.1.92, introducing a host of new features and improvements to the game. The update includes the addition of a new character, cross-platform functionality, and various gameplay adjustments.
Goenitz, a popular character from the franchise, has been added to the game’s roster. Known for his unique fighting style and captivating storyline, Goenitz’s inclusion is sure to excite long-time fans of the series.
One of the significant updates in this patch is the introduction of cross-platform functionality. This feature allows players across different platforms to compete against each other, enhancing the game’s competitive scene. The cross-platform functionality is available on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Windows10, Steam, and Epic Games.
To facilitate this feature, players will need to create a KOFID for online use. The game also includes a cross-platform support toggle, allowing players to choose whether to compete with players on other platforms or restrict matches to their own platform.
The patch also introduces the ability to invite users to Room Matches and Online Training from Follow Lists. Additionally, players can now block other users, preventing them from sending invites and displaying their custom text. A reporting feature has also been added, allowing players to report other users for inappropriate behavior.
In terms of gameplay, Goenitz has been added to the Boss Challenge Mode in the Mission section. Several issues related to character graphics and UI have been resolved, and adjustments have been made to the Jumping Blow Back and certain character-specific moves.
