The latest patch for Cyberpunk 2077, Patch 1.63, is now being rolled out on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. This update brings various gameplay and quest fixes to the game.
The patch addresses several issues in the game’s quests, including problems that could cause the game to be permanently stuck on the screen, characters disappearing, and issues with mission progression. It also fixes issues in the open world, such as gigs stuck in the “Undiscovered” stage and problems with subtitles for some NPCs.
The update also brings improvements to the game’s user interface, addressing issues where devices could become unusable after opening the map and where the UI showed the “Enemy hack in progress” text while transferring money or data.
Visual improvements have also been made, with fixes for color artifacts when Path Tracing was enabled and bright, colorful flashes appearing at the edges of certain objects when DLSS was enabled.
For PC users, the patch fixes a crash that occurred on launch when using Razer Chroma and improves the performance of DLSS Frame Generation on AMD CPUs. It also addresses an issue where Photo Mode screenshots could appear as empty files.
Console-specific changes include an increase in the number of available save slots on Xbox to 20 for manual saves and 10 for Point of No Return saves. An issue affecting performance on Xbox Series X|S after playing for an extended period of time has also been addressed.
The patch also includes miscellaneous fixes, such as improvements to Photo Mode stickers and frames and recognition of Corpo and Nomad V in the intro holocall by Padre.
The REDmod has also been updated, allowing the deployment of mods from a listing file and updating command help texts.
