Team17 Digital, in partnership with Mantic Games, has announced the development of Worms: The Board Game, marking the iconic invertebrates’ first foray into the world of tabletop gaming. The announcement comes with the promise of a Kickstarter campaign set to launch in August 2023, followed by a retail launch in 2024.
Mantic Games, renowned for its expertise in adapting popular brands into tabletop games, has previously worked on titles such as Hellboy, Mars Attacks, and The Walking Dead. The retail launch of Worms: The Board Game is part of the build-up to the Worms series’ 30th anniversary in 2025.
