Evolution of Bisharp into Kingambit in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet

by GIStaff January 12, 2023
by GIStaff January 12, 2023

One of the most cool-looking Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet is Kingambit. And to be honest, evolving it from a Bisharp isn’t as easy as it sounds. Below is the complete tutorial on obtaining Kingambit from evolving Bisharp.

But before going into the tutorial, let us look at one or two things about the new Pokemon game.

You know, we’ve been treated by how joyful Arceus was. It was the first open-world Pokemon game idea that was finally implemented by the developer. Many fans were quite excited when the first trailer of Scarlet and Violet was launched. Since it has a different theme from Arceus, people feel more intrigued about it.

Similar to the other Pokemon games, Game Freak developed this game and took place in a new location. In the video trailer, you can see three new starter pokemon that look so adorable.

Learning The Differences

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet have fundamental differences in terms of avatars, professors, and more. Pokemon Scarlet comes with a red outfit, and Pokemon Violet comes with a purple costume. Apart from that, there is also a difference in the character of the professor where Pokemon Violet will feature Professor Turo, and Pokemon Scarlet will present Professor Sada. Another major difference is that the Legendary Pokemon are Koraidon in the Scarlet series and Miradon in the Violet series.

Besides being able to hunt and fight, players can explore various locations of interest with other players. Pokemon gives a multiplayer limit of up to 4 players to explore unfamiliar areas in this latest series. In addition, players can also experience an interesting storyline in addition to adventure with Pokemon.

Before embarking on an adventure in the open world, players can choose the main character whose appearance can be customized. Apart from that, Pokemon has announced 11 other characters that will accompany the players’ adventures.

As mentioned, everything will have the characteristics of each. Arven, Brassius, Clavell, Geeta, Grusha, Lono, Jacq, Mela, Nemona, Penny, and professors Sada and Turo.

The Game Has Sold 10 Million Units Worldwide

Nintendo announced that their newest games, Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, were successful in terms of sales, breaking new records for them.

Nintendo said that the game had sold around 10 million units in the span of three days after its initial release.

In a press release in Japanese, quoted on Tuesday (299/11/2022), Nintendo noted that this figure includes domestic sales in Japan, which reached 4.05 million units.

Quoted from Gamespot, in just a week, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet were also reported to be sold at a figure close to the total sales of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, which reached 14.92 million units.

However, despite being successful in terms of sales, this game seems to have received a lot of criticism from players, who commented on the poor performance and the many glitches and bugs encountered.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet themselves have an open world. The game itself is set in the Paldea region.

Quoting Games Radar, players will start the game with three adorable starter Pokemon that can be chosen at the start of the game, including Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly.

The game is available on Nintendo Shop, and you can download it right now. Although, as a recommendation, we want to advise you to use decent protection when downloading the game. The reason is mainly that private network for gaming can prevent connection hacking during playing. Thus, when you play in multiplayer mode, you can be a lot safer in the gaming session.

How to Evolve Bisharp

Surely, everyone who plays Violet and Scarlet already know that Kingambit can be considered a great addition. Although getting Bisharp is easy since they’re basically everywhere, you’ll feel like it’s not much easier to evolve it into a Kingambit.

Thus, some efforts should be taken, and basically, you’re required to do these steps:

  1. Catch a Bisharp
  2. Obtain the Leader’s Crest
  3. Equip the item to your Bisharp
  4. Fight three Bisharps in specific conditions (we’ll explain about it later)
  5. And finally, keep leveling up the Bisharp

Bisharp Farming Location

As mentioned above, you’ll always need a Bisharp in order to get a Kingambit since it’s basically its basic form. So to get it, you can either evolve a Pawniard or just farm them in area 2 of Bamboo Groves.

However, it’s not an ordinary Bisharp that we’re looking around here. Look for the Bisharp that’s holding an item named Leader’s Crest. How to obtain it? See the tutorial below:

Obtaining Leader’s Crest

If you look at the items’ descriptions, you’ll know straight away that a Bisharp only holds this item that Pawniard’s group surrounds. So, start looking for a Bisharp in this exact condition. You’ll find them easily in the location mentioned above.

After you find it, now one thing: you have to steal it. You can either use the Thief skill on the Bisharp or simply capture the Bisharp, and the item will be given to your automatically. Choose either of these and move to the next step.

Make the Bisharp Stronger

After obtaining the Bisharp, now it’s time for us to prove its true strength. You can reveal it by battling it with three other Bisharps in the exact condition. Yes, these three Pokemons should be in the middle of Pawniards.

Make sure that the Bisharp leans one or two useful skills that might be helpful in your journey, like Low Kick. The Bisharp is more suitable for fighting-style moves.

After the three other Bisharps have been defeated, you can go straight to evolve it into a Kingambit. Do it once, and it’ll evolve right away. If you have some items like Rare Candy, use it to gain much EXP.
