It’s important to keep in mind that using cheese strategies on Lu Bu can take away from the challenge and enjoyment of Wo Long Fallen Dynasty. These strategies should only be used if you’re struggling with the boss and want to progress through the game.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a challenging game with tough boss fights that require players to learn mechanics and strategies to progress. One of the most difficult battles in the game is against Lu Bu, the Legendary Warrior, during “The Battle of Hulaoguan Pass” in Part 4. This guide will provide tips and strategies for players to prepare for and defeat Lu Bu.

Preparing for the Lu Bu Boss Fight:

Players should focus on a Water Element build to increase their fire resistance and use high-level, water-based Wizardry Spells. It’s recommended to level up to at least level 42 and fully upgrade weapons and armor to +4 or +5. Collect Tiger Seals to bring reinforcements, but it’s not necessary for this battle.

Beating Lu Bu in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty:

Lu Bu will already be mounted on his horse when the player enters the main arena. He takes less damage while mounted, and his horse takes none. Players should aim to fill up the ‘negative spirit’ gauge to knock him off the horse while deflecting his critical blows. Use water-based Wizardry Spells, a water-based divine beast, and counterattacks while maintaining high morale to defeat Lu Bu.

How To Easily Cheese Lu Bu In Wo Long Fallen Dynasty

Strategy 1:

1. Respec your points into earth and select the “Imposing Slab” spell.
2. During the first phase of the fight, deflect Lu Bu’s red deflect moves and use imposing slab to knock him off his horse.
3. Once he’s off his horse, focus on guarding his attacks and only deflecting the red attacks and mini jumps he does at you. Use beckoning pine or one attack then guard to avoid getting caught in a stun.
4. Once you have him enough for a fatal strike, use imposing slab three times and back off into a guard.
5. Repeat the steps above until he’s defeated.

Strategy 2:

1. Use an all water build and input Frost Lance and Water Spike spells.
2. Lock onto Lu Bu and spam Frost Lance from a distance, using Water Spike when necessary.
3. During the first phase of the fight, deflect Lu Bu’s red deflect moves and continue to use Frost Lance and Water Spike to whittle down his health.
4. Once he’s off his horse, focus on guarding his attacks and only deflecting the red attacks and mini jumps he does at you.
5. Once you have him enough for a fatal strike, use Water Spike spam at the same times you would use Imposing Slab in strategy 1.
6. Repeat the steps above until he’s defeated.
