PlayStation State of Play Lineup Leak Includes Free DLC Update for Astro Bot

Sony is poised to host a much-anticipated State of Play presentation today at 3 PM PST, with a lineup of game announcements that have already been partially revealed through leaks.

Two significant leaks have surfaced in the lead-up to the presentation. The first pertains to a remastered version of Horizon Zero Dawn, which is expected to be announced for both PC and PlayStation 5. The second major leak involves Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 and 2, which are rumored to receive remastered editions for the PS4 and PS5.

According to information from the official PlayStation Store, a diverse range of titles is set to be featured in today’s State of Play, which promises to deliver exciting news and updates. The confirmed games for announcement include:

  • ASTRO BOT
  • The Last of Us Part I
  • Stellar Blade
  • Horizon Zero Dawn
  • LEGO Horizon Adventures
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge
  • Monster Hunter Wilds
  • Metro Awakening
  • Dynasty Warriors: Origins
  • FANTASIAN Neo Dimension
  • Fear the Spotlight
  • Dragon Age: The Veilguard
  • Sonic X Shadow Generations
  • Alan Wake II
  • Hell is Us

Astro Bot developer Team Asobi has confirmed plans to release free DLC updates for the game. The game’s credits suggested that Stellar Blade, Assassin’s Creed, and other major franchise bots would be added to the game. It’s uncertain what announcements the other games in the list will receive during the upcoming presentation, but many of them could be related to DLC, such as Stellar Blade and TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge.

Sony announced the State of Play event on their official website. The event will showcase news and updates on more than 20 upcoming titles, highlighting the global efforts of various studios. The presentation will last over 30 minutes and will start at 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET today. Global audiences can tune in on platforms such as YouTube and Twitch. The broadcast will be available in both English and Japanese, allowing for a wider audience to engage with the announcements.
