The remastered editions of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 and Soul Reaver 2 have reportedly surfaced on the PlayStation Network. It is rumored that Aspyr Media is currently developing these remastered titles, aiming to introduce a new generation of players to the iconic Legacy of Kain franchise while preserving the original experience cherished by long-time fans.
Both Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver and its sequel, Soul Reaver 2, will offer players the opportunity to immerse themselves once again in the dark and gothic world inhabited by Raziel, a former lieutenant of the vampire lord Kain. The narrative follows Raziel’s quest for vengeance centuries after his betrayal and execution at the hands of Kain, as he seeks to confront his former master.
In these remastered versions, players will continue to harness Raziel’s formidable powers as a wraith. His telekinetic abilities, lethal claws, and the renowned Wraith Blade will take center stage in combat. The remaster aims to enhance these mechanics while preserving the essence of the original gameplay.
