The Callisto Protocol launched with terrible performance on PC although it was a rather decent port on current-generation consoles. There were two modes available to play, quality and performance. PC users had to wait a while before the game could be played with some acceptable level of performance.
The download size for this update has been reported at 10-13 GB on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S|X.

- Ability to skip death animation
- Faster weapon and recovery animations
These are the currently reported list of changes that have been added to this patch. The update appears to be only released on the current-generation consoles for now, but it might also launch on PS4 and Xbox One.
