MLB The Show 22 update 1.11 was released today for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Switch. You can get the patch notes here.
Hitting and pitching difficulties are now reflected in the Game Log. Fixed an issue that caused the “Can’t Pitch” symbol to linger in the pause menu. Several changes were made to the play-by-play commentary during this year’s San Diego Padres games.

- Introduction of the Nike City Connect San Diego Padres uniforms.
- Hitting and pitching difficulty will now be displayed in the Game Log.
- Fixed an issue that would cause the “Can’t Pitch” icon to remain in the pause menu.
- Various play-by-play commentary adjustments.
MLB The Show players now have more options than ever before. Create your own Ballplayers to compete against live or online opponents. The game is also available on the Nintendo Switch for the first time this year in addition to the Xbox consoles.
