God of War Ragnarok update 2.01 was released today for PS4 and PS5. You can get the complete patch notes for the update here.
The game has been recently updated on the PS5 to add support for the Polish language and fix some minor stability and performance issues with the game. There were some crashes reported b the players that could lead to loss of progress but they have been resolved now with the new update.

Please note that this patch is for PS5 only. There will be a subsequent patch to provide these updates for PS4 as soon as possible.
Stability and Performance
- Fixed a rare crash that could occur at the end of the first boss fight.
- Fixed a crash that could appear randomly during gameplay.
Polish Language Support
- Added Polish language audio support for players that purchased the game on disc in Poland.
- Note: Please ensure that the game is fully installed from the disc or network and patched to version 2.01 before enabling Polish language in the Speech Language settings.
- If the game is not fully installed there will be no audio or subtitles for the in-game dialog.
- To correct, please close the app and restart once the game is fully installed and the patch install is complete.
God of War Ragnarök is a new action-adventure video game in development at Sony Santa Monica Studio. This is a sequel based on the popular God of War series that has sold more than 23 million copies. It is set to be released internationally on November 9, 2022. The game will be the series’ first cross-gen release for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Ragnarök, a series of events that bring about the end of days and represent the deaths of several of the Norse gods, will be covered in the game. It will take place in ancient Scandinavia and will star Kratos and his adolescent son Atreus.
It will be a lengthy game with a lot of gameplay based on early estimates pegging it around 70 hours. There are multiple difficulty modes available for players to customize depending on their experience. It is full of difficult bosses and plenty of armor sets to collect for the player.
