ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON Bombs Out With Patch 1.02

The developers of ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON have released Patch 1.02. This update is particularly focused on balance adjustments aimed at providing players with more build diversity during the early and mid-game phases. Additionally, the patch addresses a variety of bugs to improve the overall gaming experience.

Targeted Platforms

The patch is available for the following platforms:

  • PlayStation 4
  • PlayStation 5
  • Xbox One
  • Xbox Series X|S
  • Steam

Major Balance Adjustments

The update brings a series of weapon unit balance adjustments, including:

  • MA-J-200 RANSETSU-RF: Increased attack power and rate of fire, decreased reload time.
  • LR-036 CURTIS: Increased attack power, decreased reload time.
  • RF-024 TURNER: Increased attack power and projectile speed, decreased reload time.
  • RF-025 SCUDDER: Increased attack power and projectile speed, decreased reload time.
  • MA-J-201 RANSETSU-AR: Increased attack power and projectile speed, decreased reload time.
  • MG-014 LUDLOW: Increased attack power, total rounds, and projectile speed, decreased recoil and reload time.
  • DF-MG-02 CHANG-CHEN: Increased attack power, total rounds, and projectile speed, decreased reload time.
  • MA-E-210 ETSUJIN: Increased attack power, total rounds, and projectile speed, decreased reload time.

The patch also adjusts certain attacks performed by enemy units such as AAP07: BALTEUS, IA-13: SEA SPIDER, and IB-01: CEL240.

Bug Fixes

The update addresses several bugs, including:

  • Fixes for specific missions like “Destroy the Weaponized Mining Ship” and “Prevent Corporate Salvage of New Tech.”
  • Improved camera controls for online arena battles.
  • Fixes for display issues in missions like “Survey the Uninhabited Floating City” and “Attack the Old Spaceport.”
  • [Xbox One / Xbox Series X|S / Steam] Fixed a bug causing the game to enter offline mode after device recovery from sleep mode.
  • [Steam] Text and rendering issues fixed.

Version and Online Play

The version number for this update will be displayed as App Ver. 22 and Regulation Ver. 1.02.1. Online play will require players to apply this update.

Important Notice for Console Players

Players using PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S should ensure that the game is set to online mode in the Network Settings to download the latest regulation files.
