Total Mayhem Games released the previously unannounced “We Were Here Expeditions: The FriendShip” for free on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Within just the first weekend, the game attracted an astounding 3 million Explorers, exceeding all expectations.

Geoff van den Ouden, the Executive Producer of Total Mayhem Games, expressed immense gratitude for the overwhelming response from the community and the industry. “The Friendship” serves as a token of appreciation for long-time fans and an inviting entry point for newcomers. The game focuses on asymmetrical co-op puzzles and communication via walkie-talkies, encapsulating the essence of the We Were Here series.

The game is free to claim on multiple platforms, including PlayStation 5 & 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, Epic Games Store, and Steam, until October 13th. Starting October 14th, the game will be priced at €3.99 / $3.99 / £2.99 across all platforms.

The We Were Here series has enjoyed significant success since its inception in 2017, with nearly 10 million players engaging in its co-op puzzle adventures. The series includes titles like “We Were Here,” “We Were Here Too,” “We Were Here Together,” and “We Were Here Forever,” all of which are available on multiple platforms.
