Warner Bros Games and Rocksteady Studios’ action adventure game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, will receive an offline Story mode after launch.

On the official Discord server (via) for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, a Rocksteady Studios employee stated that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be getting an offline Story mode after launch.

The Rocksteady Studios employee confirmed that the aforementioned mode will give players the option to experience the main campaign without the need for an internet connection. The development team is planning to add the offline Story mode to Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League via an update sometime in 2024. They mentioned that more information regarding the mode will be provided at a later date.

Previously, Twitter/X user Miller Ross, who has been sharing information regarding Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League over the past few days, shared a tweet mentioning the inclusion of Deathstoke as a DLC character in the upcoming game. The tweet was later removed in response to a report from the copyright holder, Warner Bros Games, giving further credibility to Ross’ information.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Games. It is set to release on February 2, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. It is set five years after the events of Batman: Arkham Knight. It marks a departure from the series norm as Batman is not the main protagonist. However, the character still makes an appearance, posthumously voiced by Kevin Conroy in his final performance as Batman. The storyline focuses on the Suicide Squad, a team of super-criminals assembled by Amanda Waller. Their mission is to stop the alien invader Brainiac in Metropolis and save the Justice League members who have been brainwashed by him.
