Starfield has been rumored to launch later this year. New concept art has now leaked from the game that teases a Pip-Boy alternative and more.
Starfield was first announced at Bethesda’s E3 2018 press conference. It hasn’t been shown again, and there was never any gameplay reveal for it. Most fans are completely clueless about it aside from small tidbits that they had heard from interviews of Todd Howard and other Bethesda executives.
The most recent leak from Starfield is not an in-game screenshot as we have covered earlier, but concept art that was posted by a user on the Starfield reddit. The user quickly deleted his post and the link to the concept art, which was found to be hosted by Bethesda CDN (content delivery network). Anyways, while the user has deleted his original post, it was preserved online. The user called this Starfield Breaker Background but it is hard to guess what this references in the actual game.
If we take a look at the concept art accessible here, we can see a watch that we have to guess could be work out similar to how Pip-Boy does in Fallout 4. There is a city or space station in the background on the lower left in addition to random bits of text. The text that is readable is hard to make use of since it is pretty much random words. The concept art does look official and the matches some of the leaked screenshots.
Starfield has been rumored to release exclusively for the Xbox and PC. If the game is released this year, it might launch on day one for Xbox Game Pass since Microsoft has now acquired Bethesda Softworks.
