Sony has apologized for the low stock issues with PS5 pre-orders and assured fans that they are working on getting more stock out in the coming days.

When the PS5 pre-orders started, they were quickly sold out that led to a lot of frustration among the fans. Sony has now shared an apology on its official social media account assuring fans that they will try to rectify this problem soon.

Let’s be honest: PS5 preorders could have been a lot smoother. We truly apologize for that.

Over the next few days, we will release more PS5 consoles for preorder – retailers will share more details.

Sony is planning to ship more than 15 million PS5 consoles by the end of March 2021. These consoles will be delivered throughout the launch month leading into the holidays. There is a strong demand for the PS5 which is leading to any available stock getting sold out rather quickly.

PlayStation will be available in two different editions. The disc edition will be sold for $499 while the diskless edition is selling for $399. It will be released in most major markets on November 12 and the rest of the world on November 19.
