New Exciting Anime Games To Anticipate In 2024

The worldwide popularity of anime has attracted huge fanbases. Fans not only look forward to watching the latest episodes but also engage in various anime-related media, from reading manga to playing games.

The games based on hit animes have their own crowd waiting to play the game even before its launch announcement.

Anime-based games have even found their way into online casinos. Among them, the 10 most popular anime slot games have specifically caught the attention of anime enthusiasts. Some of them are ‘’Starlight Princess”, “Miko Festival“, and “Highschool Manga”.

Gaming consoles remain the favorite in this popular category and the developers are robust.  The good news for anime and console game enthusiasts is that various new anime console games are also expected to be released this year. 

Tokyo Revengers: Last Mission Action-RPG

Victor Entertainment has revealed that the 3D action RPG “Tokyo Revengers: Last Mission” is set to launch in February 2024 in Japan.

The game will be accessible on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via DMM Games, iOS through the App Store, and Android via Google Play. It will be offered as a free-to-play title with optional item-based micro-transactions.

Interested players can pre-register for the game now.

“Tokyo Revengers: Last Mission” allows players to revisit the main story, where they navigate through time to seek revenge against a dire future. The game boasts high-quality reproductions of Shibuya’s streets and 3D characters and an impressive voice cast bringing the main story to life.

Amid the excitement, fans have expressed their anticipation for the upcoming release. However, some faced problems registering due to regional issues. Nevertheless, these concerns are expected to be promptly resolved before the official game launch.

One Punch Man: World

Crunchyroll Games has announced the release date for “One Punch Man: World” after a successful closed beta test in October. The action game is set to launch on January 31, 2024, and will be available on PC, iOS, and Android. 

“One Punch Man: World” features cross-platform play and progression, adapting the anime’s first season based on the manga by ONE and illustrated by Yusuke Murata. Players can control characters like Saitama, Genos, Mumen Rider, and Silver Fang, with a multiplayer mode for collaborative play against powerful enemies.

Pre-registration is open in various regions, including the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America, and the Nordics.

SPY x FAMILY and Street Fighter 6 Collaboration

Spy x Family is expanding its reach beyond the anime community, and to generate more buzz, the franchise has teamed up with an unexpected partner, “Street Fighter 6”. The announcement of the collaboration was made in July 2023.

The SPY x FAMILY collaboration items are set to arrive in “Street Fighter 6” on January 9, 2024.

With the premiere of Spy x Family Code: White in Japan in December 2023 and scheduled for release in the US and Europe in 2024, the collaboration aims to capture the attention of diverse audiences. Specific details regarding these items are yet to be disclosed. 

Bleach Soul Resonance

Bleach is one of the mega-hit anime that is well-loved globally. The good news is Bleach fans can look forward to the upcoming release of “Bleach Soul Resonance,” a new action RPG set to launch in 2024. 

Developed by Black Moon Studio and published by Nuverse, the game promises an immersive experience for Bleach enthusiasts. 

While a specific release date is pending, multiple beta rounds will give eager fans early access. The trailer hints at exciting battles featuring iconic characters like Ichigo Kurosaki, but platform details remain undisclosed.

Attack on Titan: VR

The release of the highly anticipated “Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable” game has been delayed from winter 2023 to the latter half of 2024. The game is based on the renowned Attack on Titan franchise, including the manga by Hajime Isayama and the anime adaptation by Wit Studio and MAPPA. 

The VR game offers both single and two-player modes, supporting various play styles. It will be available on the Meta gaming store and is compatible with Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest Pro, and Meta Quest 3 devices. 

The game promises an exhilarating flying experience with ODM Gear, anti-motion sickness technology, and immersive cross-range combat against Titans. 

“Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable” will feature Japanese and English subbed and dubbed versions, with actors from the anime reprising their roles.
