LEGO Reveals First Pokémon Sets Launching February 27

The LEGO Group has officially revealed its first-ever LEGO Pokémon product line, confirming a long-anticipated collaboration with The Pokémon Company International. The new range brings several of the franchise’s most iconic Pokémon into LEGO brick form and is set to launch worldwide on February 27, 2026.

Announced from LEGO’s headquarters in Billund, Denmark, the initial wave of LEGO Pokémon sets is inspired by characters drawn from Pokémon’s 30-year history. The debut lineup recreates Pikachu, Eevee, Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise as detailed brick-built display models, allowing fans to build and showcase familiar Pokémon using LEGO’s design system for the first time.

The launch collection consists of three core sets. Headlining the range is LEGO Pokémon Pikachu and Poké Ball, a 2,050-piece display set that depicts Pikachu leaping out of an opened Poké Ball. The model features a lightning bolt-shaped base with energy effects emerging from the ball, alongside hidden details such as a reference to Pikachu’s Pokédex number. Builders can pose Pikachu either mid-action or in a seated position with the Poké Ball closed, offering multiple display options.

The largest set in the lineup is LEGO Pokémon Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise, a 6,838-piece build that brings together three of the most recognizable Kanto-era Pokémon evolutions in a single package. Each figure is individually articulated and designed to closely match its original appearance. The set includes a shared display base with environmental details inspired by each Pokémon’s habitat, along with several hidden design elements intended to reward careful builders. LEGO describes it as one of the largest display sets the company has produced to date.

Rounding out the launch lineup is LEGO Pokémon Eevee, a 587-piece set focused on poseability and expression. The model features a movable head, tail, and limbs, allowing builders to display Eevee in multiple stances. The set also supports LEGO’s Build Together app, enabling collaborative building experiences for families and groups.

Alongside the physical sets, LEGO and The Pokémon Company are promoting a global scavenger hunt running from January 12 through February 27. During this period, fans can search for hidden LEGO Pokémon clues across official LEGO and Pokémon digital channels. Participants who complete the challenge will unlock rewards and be entered for a grand prize that includes a trip to Pokémon XP and the 2026 Pokémon World Championships in San Francisco, along with access to Championship Sunday and all three LEGO Pokémon sets.

Pre-orders for all three sets are available now through LEGO.com and Pokémon Center in the US, UK, and Canada. The sets will be available for purchase starting February 27 via LEGO Stores, LEGO.com, Pokémon Center, and select retailers worldwide.

Pricing and specifications for the launch sets have also been confirmed. LEGO Pokémon Eevee is priced at $59.99 and includes 587 pieces. LEGO Pokémon Pikachu and Poké Ball is priced at $199.99 with 2,050 pieces. LEGO Pokémon Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise is priced at $649.99 and includes 6,838 pieces. All three sets are recommended for ages 18 and up.

In addition, Pokémon Center is offering a limited gift with purchase promotion. Customers who pre-order the Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise set through Pokémon Center in the US, UK, and Canada will receive a LEGO Pokémon Kanto Region Badge Collection while supplies last.

With this collaboration, LEGO and Pokémon are bringing two globally recognized brands together for the first time in brick form, setting the stage for what is likely to become an ongoing product line aimed at collectors, longtime fans, and builders alike.
