From ‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’ to ‘Mario+Rabbids Kingdom Battle’: Nintendo Switch Games Ranked

GIStaffBy GIStaffMay 5, 2021Updated:October 9, 2022No Comments3 Mins Read

Now’s the time to be stuck on your Nintendo Switch, especially with its graphically intensive titles like “Super Mario 3D World” and “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt”. Last month, Nintendo also announced an array of new titles set to be unveiled in 2021, including Mario Golf Super Rush and Monster Hunter Rise. However, after you put down those controllers, make sure you remember to clean them! According to a recent study, gaming consoles have more germs than the average toy or other household items. Next time you use your game console, remember to prioritize cleaning both your gaming console and controllers.

Here are Nintendo Switch games that are a must-play in  2021.

  • Legend of Zelda – Breath of the Wild

Breath of the Wild is widely known as the best Nintendo Switch game in 2021 and among the best video games in history. The game gives a new direction to the Legend of Zelda series, incorporating the franchise’s trends and other open-world fantasies. It’s also hard to resist its crafty puzzles, a continent packed with live-in towns and monsters to fight.

  • Super Mario Odyssey

Whether you grew to play the 80s arcade games or 3D video games, Mario played a huge role in defining what a video game should look like. The Super Mario Odyssey continues keeping this classic game alive, pushing the series further with new powers to ensure the game remains fresh and exciting to play.

  • Super Smash Bros Ultimate

Remember arguing about who’d win a fight on the playground when growing up? The Super Smash Bros is the game that gave the players the chance to settle the score with thumbs and fists but without the physical pain. The franchise has also added a new title in the series, featuring 74 unlockable characters and 100+ fight stages. You’ll want to challenge your friend and relieve your sweet childhood memories.

  • Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

If you like Nintendo, there’s a good chance you are familiar with Mario Kart, a racing game with great competitive fun for gamers of all skills and ages. The game uses a seemingly simple concept, but Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has also added more characters, tracks, and combinations to keep you entertained all day long.

  • Animal Crossing: New Horizons

For anyone looking to take down the adrenaline a notch, Animal Crossing is the relaxing escape you need. The game allows you to create your characters, create a town, spend your time gardening, fishing, and meeting other people to relieve the day’s stress.

  • Super Mario Maker 2

Mario games have existed for decades, and they’re still the reason why most of us played a Nintendo game for the first time. The Super Mario Maker series offers virtually a limitless number of Mario levels to enjoy, and you can create other levels.

  • Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle

If you fancy turn-based strategy games, then Mario + Rabbids is the game for you. The Kingdom Battle title gives the genre a Nintendo twist, merging Rabbids and Mario franchises in a silly yet tactical war game which works better than you’d expect.
