Black Salt Games, in collaboration with Team17 Digital, has released the third free update for their multi-award-winning indie game, “DREDGE.” This update comes on the heels of the first two updates, which introduced a photo mode and a ‘cosy’ mode. The latest update adds a new layer of immersion by allowing players to customize their fishing trawlers and introduces 13 new deep-sea creatures, aptly named ‘craberrations.’

Players can now interact with a new in-game character called the ‘Painter,’ located in the game’s starting area. This character enables players to choose a flag for their vessel and apply a fresh coat of paint. As players set sail and explore, they can also find additional items to further embellish their trawlers.

The update introduces 13 new twisted crustaceans that players can hunt. Capturing these eerie creatures will unlock even more customization options for the player’s boat, adding an extra layer of engagement to the game.
