Where to Find Lingonberries in Grounded 2 and How to Get Lingonberry Chunks

In Grounded 2, some of the more valuable natural resources are not immediately visible, tucked away in less-traveled corners of the map. Lingonberries are a prime example. These vibrant red berries are not only used in crafting unique materials like Lingonberry Leather, but also represent a significant step in progression once you have acquired the appropriate tools. However, reaching and harvesting them is a process that requires a bit of navigation and preparation.

Where to Find Lingonberries

Lingonberries can be located on the western edge of the game map, just north of the Snackbar landmark. This region borders the Pine Hill and Fire Pit areas and is best identified by a wooden structure marker that appears nearby. From this marker, head directly north until you encounter a large bush wall. A baseball resting against the foliage serves as a useful landmark.

Follow the bush line until you locate a log leading into the thicket. This natural tunnel opens into a concealed area where Lingonberries can be found growing high on the plant stalks. Due to their height, many of these berries are out of reach and must be shot down with a bow. Some berries grow lower to the ground and can be knocked off with a simple jump, but the majority require ranged assistance.

How to Get Lingonberry Chunks

Once the berries have been shot down or dislodged, collecting them is not as simple as picking them off the ground. You will need a Level 2 Omni-Axe (or higher) to harvest them properly. Using a lower-tier tool will not yield any usable resources. After chopping them with the correct axe, the berries will break into Lingonberry Chunks—an important material used for crafting, including the production of Lingonberry Leather.

It is advisable to collect several berries in one trip, as crafting materials can quickly become scarce if you are progressing through equipment upgrades or preparing for tougher encounters. Lingonberry Chunks play a role in multiple recipes and are part of the mid-tier crafting cycle that supports armor and item upgrades.

Additional Tips

Lingonberries are not the only berries found in Grounded 2. Blueberries, for instance, are more easily accessible early in the game and can be found in the southeast corner of the map, below the Ice Cream Cart landmark. These may serve as a valuable secondary resource, especially if you are not yet equipped to tackle the Lingonberry region or the possible dangers nearby.
