After seven years, with the release of Mario Golf: Super Rush, we finally got to see a new game in the Mario Golf Series. So many players have questions regarding the game, such as whether it supports multiplayer, split-screen, cooperative play, or online play. In this guide, we have compiled all the answers for your convenience.

Mario Golf Super Rush Multiplayer Explained

Yes, there are a variety of multiplayer modes included in Super Rush that can be played with up to three other friends. Standard golf, Speed golf, and Battle golf are the three types of golf. Below we have listed everything you need to know about them:

  • Standard Golf:

Every Stroke counts in this mode and the player with the lowest score wins this classic golf game.

  • 1-4 Players
  • Local Wireless and Online (Up to 2 players per system)
  • 6 unlockable courses
  • 3,6,9, or 18 holes
  • Take turns or all at once
  • Speed Golf:

You compete against up to three other players to see who can sink their ball first through the course in this mode.

  • 1-4 Players
  • Local Wireless and Online (Up to 2 players per system)
  • 6 unlockable courses
  • 3,6,9, or 18 holes
  • All play at the same time
  • Battle Golf:

With more obstacles, Battle Golf takes the game to a whole new level. At first, all holes are open, but once a player sinks a ball into one the hole closes. The player who captures three flags first wins the game.

  • 1-4 players
  • Local Wireless and Online Play (2 players per system)
  • 9 holes
  • All players golf at the same time!

Mario Golf Super Rush Co-op And Online Multiplayer:

Mario Golf: Super Rush doesn’t include a co-op mode, but it does provide a free local PVP multiplayer option for up to four players. If all four players have Nintendo Switch Online, the game can also be played in online multiplayer mode with up to four friends.

Mario Golf Super Rush Split-Screen Mode:

Mario Golf: Super Rush supports split-screen multiplayer, and it’s so nice because not all games offer split-screen multiplayer functionality. Split-screen action is also available while playing online or locally. In split-screen mode, only two players can play at the same time.

That’s everything you need to know about Multiplayer Mode, Co-op Mode, and Split Screen Mode in Mario Golf: Super Rush.
