Players can unlock colors for costumes by purchasing them from the shop. They can get it for 50 Fighter Coins or 1,000 Drive Tickets. Players can get Drive Tickets after making Microtransactions. Each fighter has access to seven different designs at the Shop, spanning in color from 3 to 9, while colors 1 and 2 for costumes are already unlocked. Therefore, gamers would need to spend 6,300 Fighter Coins or 126,000 Drive Tickets in order to unlock all 126 SF6 colors.
It is advised that gamers purchase outfit colors in bundles rather than as separate packages in order to save money. This is due to the 10% discount offered on each package, which can result in savings of up to 630 FC and 12,600 Drive Tickets when compared to purchasing colors separately.
While color-changing may not directly affect gameplay mechanics or balance, it contributes to the overall visual appeal, personalization, and individuality in Street Fighter games.
