This update adds a new Tournament Event mode. There are also additional trophies and fixes for the minor issues. You can have a look at the patch notes below. The update should be available to download now on all platforms.

If you don’t have VF5 Ultimate Showdown, it made its debut as a PlayStation Plus game so you missed your chance to add it to your library. The game is basically a remake by Sega of the original VF5.
