F1 22 update 1.08 was released today for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC. You can get the complete patch notes here.
This is more of a rebalance patch for the AI performance in the career mode. Once the update is downloaded and installed on the system, it will decrease the difficulty of the Career mode by a factor of five. Take a look at what Codemasters had to say regarding this update below.

Patch 1.08 is available now for F1® 22 on all platforms. Check out what’s in this patch below:
- Rebalancing of AI performance in Career
Please note that this update will apply to all current and existing saves.
After this patch, please anticipate an average decrease in Career difficulty by five. You may need to alter your save game settings for the best experience.
