Apex Legends update 1.97 was released today for PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch. You can get the complete patch notes here.
According to the developers, this is a Client-side patch along with some server-side modifications as well. The changelog mentions that improvements have been made to Ranked rewards while there are a number of issues fixed including the audio distortion problem on Xbox consoles.
