Hoist your sails, dungeon adventurers; Torchlight: Infinite’s new season has here! “Blacksail,” which will be released in January 2023, will carry players to the edge of the cosmos and into The Sea of Void.
The next season of Torchlight: Infinite will add more content to the popular PC and mobile action RPG while also increasing hero gameplay and personalization with new talents. Not only that, but Hero Relics will let players to advance and enhance their in-game setups by adding additional treasure and loadout slots.
The Shattered Blacksail Story
All planets perish in ashes, lost forever in The Sea of Void. As wandering souls strive to rejoin the world of the living, countless Aemberons consume one another in an endless loop. The Lord of the Void Sea enslaves these souls as they draw Blacksail towards planets yet to be shattered, emerging from infinite darkness. Here’s a look at the upcoming season of Torchlight: Infinite:
Void Sea Endgame Content
Hunters can gain treasure drops with unique “Void Sea Night Flame” affixes in Torchlight: Infinite’s new season by killing creatures in the Netherrealm area. After beating the final level boss, an interactive object known as the “Void Sea Seal” will appear on the map. You can shatter this Seal with any Void Sea Night Flame to reveal a random Seal Whisper dependent on the Night Flame’s affix. Hunters can then proceed to the Void Sea End Port after breaking 6 Seals to challenge the Bride of Void Sea and seize her wealth. She may also drop a Void Sea Invitation, which is required to face the season’s final boss, Lord of Void Sea, who drops numerous unique Legendary Items.
New Gear Slot and Skills
As we enter the new season, Hunters will gain access to two new hero items: Hero Relics and Hero Memories. Each Hunter can equip one Hero Relic, offering up to 3 slots which can be inlaid with collectable Hero Memories, providing powerful affixes that are closely related to the hero’s specialization. Helping to create more diverse build possibilities, Torchlight: Infinite will also introduce 5 new main Skills with the launch of the new season:
- Moon Strike
- Howling Gale
- Thunder Slash
- Blazing Bullet
- Haunting Abomination

PC Controller Support
There will soon be even more ways to play Torchlight: Infinite. PC controller support is being included as part of the new update, in response to community feedback. This will be particularly good news for those who have been itching to play on their new Steam Decks.
