The TEKKEN World Tour 2024 is set to bring about a significant change in the gaming world as Bandai Namco Entertainment introduces a new era for its iconic fighting game series. The 2023 finals saw Arslan Ash as the champion, and now, the stage is set for the upcoming TEKKEN 8 to take center stage in the upcoming tour, which promises to elevate the legendary franchise to unprecedented heights. Developed using the cutting-edge Unreal Engine 5, players can expect an enhanced gaming experience marked by improved visuals, redesigned characters, destructible environments, and an innovative “Aggressive” battle system.

TEKKEN 8 is set to release on January 26, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, and PC via Steam. The 2024 tour will commence with an in-person competitive event on April 13th, introducing a new global and regional competitive leaderboard system. The event will feature various types such as MASTER+, MASTER, CHALLENGER, and DOJO, and points will be awarded to top performers, culminating in a global showdown where the ultimate TEKKEN World Tour 2024 Champion will be crowned.

Bandai Namco Europe S.A.S. is proud to collaborate with several major brands for TEKKEN World Tour 2024. Chipotle will offer a unique opportunity for fans to vote on a TEKKEN 8 themed menu item. Venum will launch an apparel line inspired by TEKKEN legends Marshall Law, Paul Phoenix, and Jin Kazama, available in June 2024. Victrix by PDP is set to release a line of Special Edition Tekken 8 products, including controllers and arcade fight sticks, with pre-orders starting in late January.

EVO Japan 2024 will be added as a Master+ qualifying event, with registration open until March 22nd. DOJO events will start accepting applications from tournament organizers at the end of March, offering both global and regional leaderboard points to players worldwide.
