The popular fighting game franchise TEKKEN is gearing up for its latest release, TEKKEN 8, and has unveiled an exciting addition to its roster of characters. Introducing Azucena, an entirely new character dubbed the “Coffee Queen,” and the return of Raven, the UN secret intelligence agent known from TEKKEN 5 and TEKKEN 6.
Azucena, an MMA fighter from Peru, is the latest heir in the Ortiz family line, who run a Peruvian coffee plantation. She has joined The King of Iron Fist Tournament to promote the Ortiz Farm and will bring a unique fighting style to the game. Her movement is grounded in Mixed Martial Arts but includes some unconventional techniques like the Liberador. In this stance, she doesn’t block her opponents but rather dodges their attacks by instinct.
Raven’s return marks a significant development in the series, especially after his disappearance following the events of TEKKEN 6. Having undergone intensive training, he comes back even stronger in TEKKEN 8. His fighting style, a blend of ninjutsu and powerful strikes, along with his unique “Soul Field” stance, offers players a versatile arsenal. Raven’s abilities to use clones and teleportation will allow players to master the rhythm of the battlefield.
TEKKEN 8 is set to be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Utilizing the power of the latest generation of consoles, the game promises to offer a visually stunning experience. Along with breathtaking graphics, TEKKEN 8 aims to enhance the aggressive and spectacular battle action that has become a hallmark of the series.
