Street Fighter 6 has released its latest patch, update 1.003, during the maintenance period on August 8, from 12pm to 4pm JST (August 7, 8pm – 12am PDT, August 8, 3am – 7am UTC). This new update introduces exciting collaboration items with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) and various battle adjustments.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Collaboration
In a thrilling collaboration with TMNT, new items have been added to the Goods Shop, featuring avatar items, stickers, emotes, photo frames, and wallpaper. The avatar items consist of Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo bodies and bandanas. Fans can also enjoy TMNT-themed emotes like “Heroic Poses” and “Pizza Time!”, along with various photo frames and wallpapers such as “Cowabunga Wallpaper” and “Turtle Power Wallpaper.”
Battle Adjustments
Several adjustments have been made to correct unintended behavior with specific moves. Some highlights include:
- All Fighters: An update to the Assist button behavior, preventing the input of all strength levels when pressing simultaneously with the Attack button. Safe throw escapes are no longer possible using the Assist button.
- Blanka: Various fixes such as the correction of an issue where it was possible to perform a throw escape during Surprise Forward Hop or Back Hop.
- Kimberly: A fix to prevent an unintended Assisted Combo after inputting Emergency Stop while holding down the Assist button.
- Rashid: A solution for an issue where an opponent’s anti-air attack wouldn’t hit Rashid during a specific wall jump situation.
Full details of all battle adjustments can be found on the official Battle Change List (August 8th, 2023).
Bug Fixes
Along with the TMNT collaboration items and battle adjustments, update 1.003 has also corrected various minor bugs, enhancing the overall stability and gameplay experience.
