Nintendo has announced a demo for Pikmi 3 Deluxe which will be available to download from the Nintendo eShop. Save data will carry over to the final game.
Pikmin 3 Deluxe is an enhanced port of the Wii U original release that is getting a launch for the Nintendo Switch later in October. It has received an extended gameplay demo today.
Nintendo has now announced that a demo will be available to play for the game ahead of its launch. This demo will be released sometime later today.

It can be downloaded through the Nintendo eShop once available. If you make some progress in the demo, you can continue it with the final game once it launches on October 30.
