Persona 4 Golden Rumored For Switch and PS4 In 2022, Persona 6 To Be a PS5 Exclusive

JoelBy JoelJanuary 14, 2022No Comments2 Mins Read

Persona 4 Golden was released on Steam and Atlus is working on a port for Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, so it sounds like a safe bet that more games are coming.

In a recent podcast, YouTuber NateTheHate and MVG discuss the release schedule of Nintendo Switch in 2022 and mention some of the things that they have heard regarding the announcements.

NateTheHate mentions that there is a large possibility of Persona 4 Golden releasing on the PS4 and Nintendo Switch in 2022. This won’t be a big surprise considering how Atlus is bringing Persona 4 Arena Ultimax to PS4 and Switch in March, which continues the story from Persona 4 Golden’s ending.

The YouTuber also mentions that Persona 6 will be a PS5 exclusive, which is a surprise given how Atlus has managed to gain a lot of success with Persona 4 Golden on Steam. While Persona 5 is a PlayStation exclusive, Persona 4 Golden was released on PC in addition to the PS Vita. It is also coming to the Nintendo Switch and PS4 if we go by the new rumor.

Another interesting tidbit mentioned during the podcast was that Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster might launch on the Nintendo Switch in 2022, which is again not a big surprise. It might also release on other platforms like Xbox and PlayStation going by Square Enix’s history.
