French retailer Leclerc will soon implement a permanent price reduction on Nintendo Switch 2 bundles, according to a report from reliable leaker Billbil-kun. Beginning October 14, 2025, several bundles will see their prices lowered from €499 to €469, available both in-store and online.
Among the bundles included in this adjustment are the Nintendo Switch 2 paired with Pokémon Legends Z-A as well as a package featuring Mario Kart World. Billbil-kun, who shared the information on Dealabs, emphasized that the reduction is not a limited-time promotion but a lasting change to the retailer’s pricing strategy.
At €469, the bundles will offer a more competitive entry point for consumers looking to adopt Nintendo’s new console, which launched earlier this year. The move may also be aimed at maintaining momentum as demand stabilizes following the initial release surge.
Leclerc’s decision could put pressure on other major retailers across Europe to introduce similar permanent price cuts, especially heading into the year-end shopping season. For players planning to purchase a Switch 2 with one of Nintendo’s major first-party titles, the revised pricing offers a notable saving compared to the launch price.
