Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is being released physically as well as digitally. The physical version of the game doesn’t appear to have much data on the disc.
A user who has managed to find early access to the physical copy of the game has shared a screenshot revealing the file size of the disc version. In the screenshot, it is clearly seen that the install size of the data from the disc is just 70 MB. This is without any day-one patch.
This means those who will pick the game have a lot to download even if they get a physical copy. While this is understandable for a multiplayer-only game, there is also a single-player campaign for Modern Warfare 2 but even that doesn’t appear to ship on disc.
The file size of each of the individual campaign and multiplayer data packs can easily hit 100 GB even on a PS4. If the game does come with a physical copy, it is a shame that there is no way to avoid the hassle of downloading it all online.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is a first-person shooter game by Activision. It is a direct sequel to the 2019 reboot and the nineteenth chapter in the Call of Duty franchise overall. The game will be available on October 28, 2022.

Leaning out of car windows, mantling onto a vehicle top, and hijacking are all new vehicle gameplay features. The leveling and Gunsmith systems have been updated, allowing players to fine-tune attachments to their preferred playstyles.
COD Modern Warfare 2 will be out on October 28, 2022. It will launch for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC. This is reportedly the last game to be published by Activision before their acquisition is completed by Microsoft.
