Square Enix and Luminous Productions revealed a new trailer for their next title, Forspoken, today at The Game Awards, and announced the immediate release of a free* playable demo for the game on the PlayStation®5 system. The demo allows users to see the game’s unique magical enhanced fighting and parkour before it is released on January 24, 2023.
The teaser goes into further detail about the destructive consequences of the Break, a strong and enigmatic force that corrupts everything it touches, including the people of Athia and the Tantas, the once-benevolent matriarchs who now rule the realms as malevolent and maddened sorceresses.
In the demo, players will face off against a range of foes and test their combat talents with a wide arsenal of attack and support spells, preparing them for the high-octane action they will encounter when the full game comes next month.
Players may also see new gameplay on the next Forspoken broadcast with Ella Balinska on December 9, 2022 at 10:00am PST / 6:00pm GMT / 7:00pm CET as she delves further into the world of Forspoken with fresh and unique gameplay footage.
