Techland has released a new update for Dying Light 2 that has patched the game to version 1.01. This is the day one update that arrives ahead of the launch.
Dying Light 2 has received a day one update as spotted on the PlayStation Database tracker website. This update has brought the cumulative size of the game to 30.3 GB for the US and around 28.7 GB for the EU. The file size is smaller in Germany likely due to the censorship that could lead to toned-down violence and gore.

At the moment, we don’t have the patch notes for this day one update. It is highly unlikely that the developers will share this information so far ahead of launch. The patch appears to be rather substantial though and adds around 10 GB to the base game.
