Dying Light 2 has a collector’s edition that was leaked through a listing by a Czech retailer but it has been taken down now.
Dying Light 2 was originally announced at E3 2018 and it was originally targeting PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game received an extensive gameplay demo as well but there were multiple reports of the rocky development for the game and new details around the project were sparse beginning in 2020.
After the departure of several high-profile names and developers behind the game, it was teased that 2021 might be the year when new information would be revealed for the project.
Ahead of that, the official page was made available on Steam for fans but there was no release date on it. Today, a Czech retailer Xzone has listed a collector’s edition for Dying Light 2. While the listing was taken down, a web cache of the page is still available online.
This special collector’s edition was listed with a price of 210€ before it was taken down, but there was no release date for it. It included the following bonus content.
- A copy of Dying Light 2
- Collector’s box
- UV stickers
- UV flashlight
- Special limited figure
- Art book
- Collector’s SteelBook
- Map with secret locations
The game’s developer Techland hasn’t shared any update on the project but the arrival of the Steam page coupled with this new leak makes it clear that an update is due soon. We won’t have to wait that long to find out more about the fate of this troubled project.
