Cyberpunk 2077 Update 1.02 Fixes Critical Gameplay Issues, Dev Says It Is a Different Game After Update

Cyberpunk 2077 has been updated to version 1.02 and this patch apparently fixes critical gameplay and progressions issues as seen in the patch notes.

Cyberpunk 2077 has been updated on the Xbox One and PS4 today. For Xbox One and Xbox Series users, the game has been patched to version 1.0.0.6 while for the PS4 and PS5 users, the game has been patched to version 1.02.

The download size of this update is roughly 15 GB on the Xbox One and under 10 GB on the PS4. The combined download size on PS4 is now reaching nearly 110 GB.

CD Projekt Red’s developer Fabian Mario Döhla has stated that most of the bugs that reviewers have encountered have been fixed with these two updates. He calls it a “different game” with the day one update.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available to preload now for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It is also playable on the PS5 and Xbox Series X with backward compatibility support.
