Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed multiple times now. It appears that the game’s current release date, which is for December 10, is not safe either.
Cyberpunk was first set to launch in April but it was delayed to September. The second delay pushed it out of September into November with the final and latest delay settling on December 10. Now that the game is officially coming out on December 10, there have been further rumors suggesting that it could be pushed to December 10.
The hints of a potential delay came from CD Projekt Red themselves, who held a conference call after the delay. While the developers were “firm” on the release date, they suggested that it could be delayed. “We feel – maybe not comfortable [chuckle], but confident and will are releasing on the 10th.”
An insider, who previously leaked some information on E3 2020 getting canceled, has recently chimed in with a rumor that suggests that Cyberpunk 2077 could be pushed to 2021. The insider has apparently heard some “unhappy things” regarding Cyberpunk 2077, although it is not a secret by now that the current-generation consoles are holding back the game and CD Projekt Red has no plans to drop or delay them.
