Bandai Namco Updates Ace Combat 7 To Ban Players Who Were Caught Cheating

GIStaffBy GIStaffApril 14, 2022No Comments1 Min Read

Bandai Namco has issued an emergency patch for Ace Combat 7 on PC. This patch is related to banning the players who were caught cheating.

Ace Combat 7 is available for PC and consoles. While the console side doesn’t appear to suffer much from cheaters, PC is plagued with them online. It has led to Bandai Namco releasing a new update recently that has banned these players who were either caught cheating or doing other malicious activities.

They have shared the following statement.

Upon further investigation, we have newly confirmed players who used cheats or performed other malicious activities and have prohibited their Steam accounts from accessing multiplayer.

Thank you for your continued support & understanding.

That’s it for the new patch. The patch was rather small in size, at just under 500 MB. So if you were wondering what was implemented in this patch, it was mostly for the cheaters.
