Bandai Namco Europe has announced the release of WE LOVE KATAMARI REROLL+ ROYAL REVERIE, now available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
Originally launched in 2005, We Love Katamari is back and remastered for 2023. The game retains its iconic gameplay where players control the Prince as he rolls his Katamari around the world, creating a giant ball of everything and anything to reach the stars.
Following the events of Katamari Damacy, where the King of All Cosmos recreated the stars in the sky, he has garnered thousands of admirers on Earth. To satisfy the wishes of his fans, the King sends his son, the Prince, to once again roll things up into a Katamari.
The game maintains its offline multiplayer mode, allowing two friends to collaborate or compete in rolling the biggest Katamari. Additionally, WE LOVE KATAMARI REROLL+ ROYAL REVERIE introduces five new challenges to the original game, completing the story of the King’s childhood and his journey to becoming the flamboyant ruler fans adore.
A Special Edition of the game is also available for purchase, featuring unforgettable music tracks from the Katamari Damacy Series and costume items for the Prince or his cousins, including the “Little King Accessory” and “Little Prince Accessory”.
WE LOVE KATAMARI REROLL+ ROYAL REVERIE is now rolling onto Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
