Virtua Fighter 5 is the fifth installment in Sega’s Virtua Fighter series of arcade fighting games. The Sega Lindbergh arcade system board was the one on which the original version was released. On November 26, 2005, the initial location tests were held and on July 12, 2006, the game was officially released in Japanese arcades.
In February 2007, an export version based on version B was made available to arcades outside Japan. In December 2006, the revised Version B update was released in Japanese arcades, and it was ported to the Playstation 3, where it was released on February 20, 2007, and on March 23, 2007, it served as a launch title for the console’s European release.
In July 2007, “Version C” was released in Japanese arcades, and it was ported to Xbox 360, on October 26, 2007, it was released in Europe, and October 30, 2007, in North America. Users of the Xbox 360 version were allowed to compete online via Xbox Live, which was not possible on the Playstation 3 version.
On June 1, 2021, an upgraded remake of the game titled Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown will be released worldwide only for Playstation 4. So we have brought you a guide that includes all the trophies/achievements that you will be able to unlock in Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown.
