How To Unlock Difficulty In The Outlast Trials:
Unlike the previous series of the game that offered four different levels of the game, this version doesn’t support Insane difficulty. You can no longer unlock the Insane difficulty because the early access update has removed the ability to choose the game’s difficulty.
However, as you progress through the game, the difficulty level will be increased by default. In order to make the same trial more difficult, the developers also added Trial Variators, which alter certain elements of the same trial as you replay it through other programs. When choosing a certain trial in a program, you can view the Variators.
