In the Incubation Lab, you will come to know that you need a wrench to open the pane that is covered by the grate. You will come across red wrenches all through the workbenches but you won’t be able to find the one that you need. But here is how you can get your hand on the wrench. Equip yourself with the best Rifle you get from the inventory and attach the Heat Scope with it. Now aim at the Regenerador floating in the tube at the Southeast corner of the Incubation Labs. This will make you see a wrench floating in its stomach.
The best thing to do is to shoot the two parasites with one shot from the left of the tank. This will allow the Regenerador to escape the tank and once you get your wrench, take it to the panel and remove the grate. Now insert your Keycard to start the upgrading process.
