Rainbow Six Extraction DBNO State Explained: How It Works and What To Do With It

AshBy AshJanuary 28, 2022No Comments3 Mins Read

DBNO State is a special condition in Rainbow Six Extraction that occurs after you lose your health. Learn how it works in the game.

Rainbow Six Extraction does not end up your life immediately however, it gives you a second fair chance of becoming a mighty warrior. Well, in Rainbow six Extraction, you will see the word DBNO many times, what does that mean now?

What Is DBNO State In Rainbow Six Extraction

DBNO stands for Down But Not Out, it means that when during an incursion when the HP of an Operator is dropped to 0 HP the Operator is not eliminated instantly, rather it enters into a phase called DBNO.

In your First Study Objective in New York City, you will be tasked to complete your mission without dropping your HO and going into the DBNO state. Well in Rainbow Six Extraction, the Operators never dies completely. They either go in DBNO state or KO state, no matter how wrecked their condition is. There still resides a hope to revive them. When you are playing in a co-op state, your teammates will be responsible to revive you when your operators have reduced their HP to 0.

In another case when you are playing solo and there is no squad by your side or when all your teammates are dead and you are all left on your own then you need to rush towards some special health equipment that will help you restore your health. If neither you can help yourself nor any player can, then you would go from DBNO to KO state which means that another player has to come, pick you up, and take you to the extraction zone. If it doesn’t go in this way, the injured Operators will go MIA and you have to go through another process of invoking them.
