Scyther can be evolved into Scizor or Kleavor in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Find out how you can do it through Metal Coat in this guide.

In Pokemon Legends: Arceus things come with some price to pay. It means that you have to pour your blood, sweat, and tears into this game to acquire some of the items.  One of these tasks involves the evolution of Scyther and many others that require a substantial element for evolution. It needs a Metal Coat to evolve into Scizor.

How To Evolve Scyther Into Scizor In Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Evolution Of Scyther:

Scyther has two evolution in Pokemon Legends: Arceus and both of these evolutions have different circumstances to obtain. These two evolutions include:

  1. Scizor
  2. Kleavor

Since past journey’s in the Pokemon Series required the element of trading to complete the evolution of a certain Pokemon, thankfully Pokemon Legends: Arceus doesn’t ask for such a trading system. In this series along with trading, you only need an element that is essential for the evolution and Voila it’s done then.

Let’s begin with the evolutions:

Evolution Of Scyther Into Scizor:

To evolve Scyther into Scizor, a Metal Coat is required. Metal Coat can be obtained through distinct sources. One of the time-saving ways of grabbing Metal Coat is to purchase it for 1000 Pokedollar from Item Exchange at Jubilife Village.

These Pokedollars can easily be earned with the help of lost satchels. Now the good news is you can find the Metal Coat in these lost Satchels. So if you are fortunate enough, you’ll find it in the lost Satchels without spending a penny. So GOOD LUCK with that!

After you have found the Metal Coat, evolve Scyther into Scizor.

Evolution Of Scyther into Hisuian Variant Kleavor:

To evolve Scyther into Kleavor you need to have Black Augurite, which is a fairly rare item. There are three ways to locate this item:

  1. Firstly, you can get it as a drop from Graveler.
  2. Secondly, it can be obtained by digging through Ursaluna’s treasure.
  3. Thirdly, you can get it from Space-Time Distortions.

You can find the Black Augurite through these three ways and once you have got it you can evolve Scyther into Kleavor.
