When Popola takes you to the Forest of Myth in Nier Replicant ver.1.22474487139…, you will easily get lost in the Deathdream. You will have to talk to three people in the Forest of Myth. We will give you the answers to every riddle and maze in this guide so you can crack Deathdream’s seal and free the villagers.
Nier Replicant Dream Maze and Forest of Myth Answers
Talk to the mayor, when you first arrive in the Forest of Myth. The mayor will present you your first riddle after a lengthy discussion and some reading.
- Riddle 1:
One with it is lacking. Two with it is ideal.
Three with it is dangerous. What is it?
As your first answer, choose “The answer is … a secret”.
The second riddle is present by a little more text about a rippling pond:
- Riddle 2:
I enter through the window, but break no glass.
When night falls, I vanish. What am I?
As your second answer. Choose “Sunlight”.
Your third and final riddle will appear when your text adventure leads you to a cottage and an elderly man.
- Riddle 3:
I have four legs in the morning and two at noon, but end the night with three. What am I?
For your final answer choose “A man”.
You will get the Dark Execution Sealed Verse as a reward.
Nier Replicant Forest of Myth: Villager 1 Answers.
Continue from the mayor to the villager on the Forest of Myth’s northern outskirts. To access this person’s dream, speak with them.
After more text adventures, answer:
- “… and proceed north”
- “… and proceed east”
- “… and proceed north”
- “… and proceed east”
Choose “…and proceed north” after a lovely explanation of a feast.
Nier Replicant Forest of Myth: Villager 2 Riddle Answer.
Continue east and a little south across the path from the first villager to find another villager.
You will find three statues – Alpha, Beta, and Gamma – after one more text adventure through the city of Art. A bird will tell you:
- Riddle 1:
Only one form is real. The others are false.
The real form will always speak the truth.
The false ones will only speak lies.
When they awaken, Alpha will insist that they are real, Beta will insist that Alpha is lying and that they are real, and Gamma will insist that Beta is lying and that they are real. Reply, “The Real one is Beta,” when asked. After you answer, Grimoire Weiss will explain the reasoning behind it.
Return to the mayor after releasing both villagers from the Deathdream. You will get a one-handed sword Faith as a reward from the mayor.
