Lost Ark Tier System: How To Get Tier 2 Gear

AshBy AshApril 23, 2022No Comments3 Mins Read

Getting from the tier 1 gear to tier 2 gear is a long process in Lost Ark that requires some time. It is explained in detail in this guide.

If you have landed on the Lost Ark journey then I would recommend fastening your seat belts because the road is long and the challenges are strong. The game will take a sharp turn as soon as you reach level 50 which is when the endgame content begins. The item level that you will get access to in the endgame will start from level 302.

Leveling of these endgame items plays a significant role in changing your tiers. Because the item that you just had is of level 302, the motive as of now is to take it to level 600. That will ultimately unlock Yorn Country, and you will be then able to open Tier 2. Soon enough, Tier 2 content will become accessible.

But wait! How would you get Tier 1 Gear set to reach item level 302?

There are 2 ways to get the Gear Set:

  1. By completing the Shoeshine Questline
  2. By jumping through the Chaos dungeons in the Vern Castle.

How To Get Tier 2 Gear In Lost Ark

Item Level 460:

Now the next motive is to reach item level 460. This level will unlock Rohendal Region. Completing this region will open up other Tier 1 content and thus you will reach the dungeons such as Guardian raids, Abyss Dungeons, and many more. In meantime try to complete activities and keep upgrading your stuff.

Item Level 600:

The next thing you have to worry about is reaching item level 600 which needs certain things to be done at first. With that said, your gear pieces must be of level 15 otherwise you won’t get to level 600. Once, it’s done keep on completing activities and unlock new gear sets.

Buy Tier 2 Gear Set:

As soon as you reach level 600, you will have to go to an auction house to purchase Tier 2 Gear Set upgrading your item level to 800. It will surely give you a feeling of power.

You can then start upgrading your items but for that, you must have an access to upgrading materials. It can be done easily by completing daily chaos dungeons.

  • You can also seek Guardian Dungeons to get the upgrading materials.
  • Abyss Dungeon is also a great source of getting loots.
  • Get to Mari’s Secret Shop to get the upgrading materials.

In Lost are there are Islands from where you can get Upgrade materials such as:

  • Glacier Island
  • Shadow Island
  • Dreamgull Island
  • White Wave Island
  • Starlight Isle
  • Toto Silver Island
  • Panda Island
  • Serenity Isle
  • Fantasm Island

This is how you can get upgrading materials in Lost Ark.
