How To Get The Everburn Blade In Baldur’s Gate 3?

AshBy AshAugust 14, 2023No Comments2 Mins Read

This guide aims to provide players with comprehensive instructions on obtaining the Everburn Blade in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Everburn Blade In Baldur’s Gate 3:

Looking to acquire the Everburn Blade greatsword in Baldur’s Gate 3’s Nautiloid prologue? Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you secure this powerful weapon and earn the “Devil’s In The Details” achievement:

  1. Ensure you’ve rescued Shadowheart and the Intellect Devourer. Buff the Mind Flayer with Armor of Faith to enhance its survivability against Zhalk’s attacks.
  2. Then start the encounter by targeting Zhalk. Use ranged attacks and the Intellect Devourer to eliminate imps and lesser Hellboars while advancing towards Zhalk.
  3. Buff the Mind Flayer with Armor of Faith and use spells like Inflict Wounds on Zhalk to deal damage. Position Shadowheart close to the Nautiloid controls for a swift escape later
  4. When any character passes Zhalk, two imps and a Hellboar will spawn. Dispatch them using ranged attacks and the Intellect Devourer. Maintain focus on Zhalk.
  5. Around 10 turns remaining, two Cambions will spawn in the entrance hallway. These foes are dangerous and can quickly eliminate squishier characters. Focus on eliminating them before they reach Zhalk and the Mind Flayer.
  6. Concentrate on Zhalk and the Mind Flayer’s survival. Zhalk’s attention will remain on the Mind Flayer, giving you an opportunity to deal damage without fear of being one-shot by his Everburn Blade
  7. Keep track of the remaining turns (15 in total) as you fight. Your main objective is to reach the Nautiloid controls to trigger the escape sequence
  8. Defeat Zhalk before reaching the Nautiloid controls. Once Zhalk is defeated, grab the Everburn Blade from his loot. If any party member is knocked out, don’t worry—only one character needs to reach the controls to trigger the escape and revive fallen companions.

By following this guide, you’ll secure the Everburn Blade and achieve the “Devil’s In The Details” achievement in Baldur’s Gate 3. Enjoy wielding this powerful greatsword as you continue your journey through the game!
